Shaky Knees Brand Package
Shaky Knees is an annually held music festival that takes place in Midtown Atlanta, GA. Unlike most music festivals which focus on EDM (electronic dance music), Shaky Knees constructs a list of all sorts of indie musicians that perform in genres such as indie rock, indie folk, and even alternative rock. The festival was founded by Tim Sweetwood in 2013 and takes place over three days.
Process
This package focused a lot on the more psychedelic side of music festivals. To drive home this feeling, there is lots of melting effects, along with bold and daring colors. All main typography is stylized to represent 60-70s band posters, with a more legible sans serif typeface for accent typography.
Six artist introductions for this package include: Green Day, My Morning Jacket, Nine Inch Nails, Shannon & the Clams, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, and Khruangbin.
